Description: This webquest is designed for adult intermediate ESL learners studying in Wollongong. Students research tourist destinations in Wollongong and compile a short online travel guide and 2 day suggested itinerary aimed at appealing to 1 of 5 traveller 'types'. Students then collectively create a questionnaire for potential visitors to identify their traveller 'type' so they can view the itinerary that is relevant to them. Language learning areas covered/reviewed are the travel text genre, using descriptive and persuasive language techniques, making suggestions, modality and the simple present verb tense.
