Dewey On The Shelves

Location, Location, Location!!!  You will learn how to locate non-fiction books in the library. After researching Melvil Dewey and the Dewey Decimal System, each group will present Dewey�s biography via a creative oral presentation.  You will demonstrate your knowledge of the Dewey Decimal System by playing the Practice Makes Perfect Game.  A simple, yet snazzy PowerPoint presentation explaining the different categories will be produced.  The production of a Glogster poster and a Wordle for assigned categories will allow your group to give a much more detailed, and informative display to guide others in finding subject matter.
