Exploring the Americas

Imagine that you are an explorer that is living in the early 1500s. As a great explorer, you have received money in order to travel and explore America! In thinking about your journey, think about how you may answer the following questions: 

-What made you choose to leave home and take this voyage?
-Where has your ship landed in America?
-What is/are your goal(s) for this exploration of America?
-How many people are with you?/Who are they?
-What supplies do you have that can be used?
-What might you find by exploring this area? (food, animals, plants, people?)
-What are you afraid of in terms of your exploration of America/voyage to America?
