How to get what you want - or writing effective persuasive letters

You’re trying not to show your excitement, but your birthday is only a week away.  This will be an exciting year.  You know that you are old enough and responsible enough.  There is only one thing that could make this year even better.  It would definitely give you the independence that you deserve and have earned.  There is only one obstacle that could keep you from endless texting….Your Parents!  They made it clear in the past that you were not old enough for a mobile phone.  They deny you every time you ask.  This time will be different!  Why shouldn’t you have a mobile phone?
