Coerce and Survive

This WebQuest was designed for use in a middle school ELA classroom.  The activity is meant to appeal to all students in the classroom with activities that range from low level up to higher order thinking.

Notes:
Many of the individual activities and ideas for overarching themes for this WebQuest have been presented in other WebQuests but many dead links and language that was not grade appropriate for my students led me to design this WebQuest as it is now.

Ideally, I would like to add a personality test to this group of activities to group the students into groups where there is a student present to represent each of the main characters (a Ralph, Piggy, Simon and Jack).

Use in conjunction with reading of the beginning chapter of LotF.  Students that lack prior knowledge of the rainforest and the ocean biome will benefit greatly from this WebQuest in giving the students a sense of the setting for the novel.
