Jackson, Marshall, and Indian Removal

This Webquest has been written to assist with the implementation of the Washington State Social Studies Classroom Based Assessment: Checks and Balances.  Once students have completed this Webquest, they should be prepared to tackle the Checks and Balances CBA on the topic of Cherokee removal.

Limited records exist showing individual responses by Georgians to Cherokee removal.  Teachers may wish to consider combining the 'Citizen' group with the "Congressmen in Support of Cherokee Removal" group - especially if few students have advanced research skills.
