Fellow educators, this WebQuest could span about one weeks time. The beginning of the week can be dedicated to introducing and discussing the topic. Then, the student may be able to begin their research and work through the week. The oral presentation and journal entries are the culminating activities that can serve as end-of-the-week assessments or transitions to the next topic. It is a great tool to not only teach your students about the specifics of the Holocaust, but to encourage them to think about what and who influenced this time period. The WebQuest is interesting and motivates students to make connections between themselves and the lesson, helping them stay motivated and retain information.
