Don't Spoil Georgia's Coast

For this adventure, you are part of a news reporting team who is covering the devastating effects that an oil spill could have for our native animals and our beautiful habitats of Georgia's coast.  It will be your job to accurately and thoroughly gather and present information to educate others of the effects of pollution and the impact that humans have on the environment.  You will be part of a 4 member news team. In order to tell the story, divide up into 4 character roles (a native animal of Georgia's coast, a native Plant of Georgia's coast, Environmentalist, and a Marine Biologist).  You will choose one of these character roles to portray and every task you complete will be from that character's point of view.  Research your character role and what part your character would play in this scenario. With your research you and your team members will choose one of three ways to present your information.

2.  Newspaper article (intermediate) 

3.  Multi-media presentation (professional)
