Workforce 2020

Your task is the development of a team Research Report with an employment graph (6 pages) that explains your analysis of the employment market and its effects on your career cluster. Then you are to create a PowerPoint presentation with and an Excel chart that explains to present to the Committee as a team using MSN live online videoconferencing application. The audience for your presentation is the six-member Workforce Committee including President Obama, your teacher, and a sponsor from the Job Corps. The report is to be a crisp and clear synthesis of your teams' answers to all the quest questions, using the online resources provided. Your team will also make suggestions to the Committee on ways to prepare people for Workforce 2020. See the Report format, the Research Rubric, and PowerPoint Rubric for additional information.

You will present this report as a team and each team member is to speak in four weeks.  Your team will have 30 minutes to present this report.  Note, also that the Committee might, pose to you questions from the Quest Questions; be prepared to provide your own answer. You will also need to email the Committee a copy of the report after it has been graded by me and revised by your team.
