Module 7 WebQuest: Life in the 1980s

On day 1, you will travel back to the 1980s and discover what it was like to live close to thirty years before you were born through Internet research on music and television shows.                                      Day 2, you will discover which countries we were doing business with, along with with who was in the Space Shuttle Challenger.  You will write a newspaper article describing the Space Shuttle event.       Day 3, you will work in small groups to gather important data (artifacts) that you would include in a museum. You will then design a room to house the pieces you would want to display in your team's room.                                                                                                                                                                        Day 4 will be spent reviewing the discoveries of the 1980s and observing oral presentations on each team's museum room.                                                                                                                                 Day 5, after some review questions and answers, you will have 25 minutes to write an essay on the one event or person you feel had the most significant historical impact on the U.S. during this decade.
