It's the Harlem Renaissance!

During this WebQuest activity you will explore the sights and sounds that fueled a culture revolution in the African American community that spread around the world.  Harlem, New York of the 1920's was a vibrant, exciting place to be for the many talented African Americans looking for an outlet for their words, art and music.  Several themes were common to the body of work known as the Harlem Renaissance and with your group you will read, view and listen to a variety of creative works.  Your task will be to identify a theme found in the work and relate the theme to the time and to life in modern America.
