Closure and Extension

We learned that mutations are the basis for genetic change, and they can be both beneficial and harmful.  We learned about the different causes and effects of mutation, as well as the different types.  In the our next class, we will learn about gene expression and how our bodies regulate gene expression.  Key terms include intron, exon, and transcription factor.  If students need more time to complete/finalize their mutation worksheet, at home, remind them it is due at the beginning of next class.
