You've made your final decision about Poca Boca!!  No matter what you decided, you now have a better understanding about plate tectonics, Earth's lithosphere, and how and why volcanoes and earthquakes occur near plate boundaries.  Some questions for further research:  What are the major types of volcanoes and lava?  How can volcanoes affect climate change?  What are some recent volcanic eruptions (past 100 year) and how have they affected climate, wildlife, etc?  How are earthquakes measures and recorded?  What are the types of "waves" that occur during an earthquake?  What are some recent earthquakes and what types of effects have they had?  What types of safety measures and precautions are taken or should be taken in earthquake zones?
