Why was Brown v. Board of Education a significant case in U.S. History?

America is often nicknamed the "melting-pot" because of the country's immense diversity.  It is our ethnicity and cultural identity that make us different from one another but also show how we are alike.  America is a country with no boundaries, and the ruling of Brown v.
