A Tree Is a Plant

Arbor Day is a holiday in which individuals and groups are encouraged to plant and care for trees.  To help celebrate Arbor Day many people will plant a tree to symbolize the importance of nature.  Reading Clyde Robert Bulla's book, "A Tree Is a Plant," can teach you many things about the how trees start out as a small plants and grow to be huge trees.  After reading the book, you can use this lesson to help you understand more about a tree's life.
