Famous Missourian Project

Focus:
This WebQuest basically focuses on famous Missourians and their contributions to society.  

Objectives/Goals:
I would recommend starting this project during the month of March. This way, the students will be able to connect this project to Missouri Day as well as be able to present it at the Learning Fair.

• Students will learn about a Famous Missourian.
• Students will discover what contributions their person has made.

Resources:
Prerequisite Skills: Comfort level with the Internet
Time Required: 3+ weeks for lessons and preparation (approx. 45 minutes each) and 1 day for presentation day.
Technology Needs/Materials Needed
Since students will be working individually it is necessary for each student to have computer access.
