Sunshine State Standards:
HE.2.P.1.1 Demonstrate health behaviors to maintain or improve personal health. LA.2.1.7.3 The student will summarize information in text, including but not limited to main idea, supporting details, and connections between texts; TESOL Standards: Standard 2- English language learners communicate information, ideas, and concepts necessary for academis success in the area of Language Arts. (Speaking, and reading) The teacher will walk around and make sure the ELLs are on task and is recieving remediation from her, and the English speaking students. The Pyramid calls for eating a variety of foods to get the nutrients you need and at the same time the right amount of calories to maintain healthy weight. By teaching the students at an early age in life, they will have a better chance of making the right choices, and creating healthy living habits in life. It is imperative to teach health education every year from K-12. |
