What positive characteristics did Frederick Douglass display?

 The students will be required to read over the primary source document that they are assigned in groups. The students will each take notes about what sentences, words, or phrases show the positive characteristics of Frederick Douglass. The students will also need to fill out a KWL chart for the column: "What I Learned" during this activity.
