Plant and Animal Cells

The purpose of this investigation is to explore the similarities and differences between plant and animal cells. Along the way, you will learn the two different types of cells, organelles of the cell and the functions they perform for the cell. Also, you will build a model and/or diagram of the plant and animal cells highlighting the differences. This investigation should lead you to be able to answer two questions: 1) What are the two organelles the plant cell has that the animal cell does not? 2) Why do animals rely on plants for survival?
