Native Americans of the Eastern Woodlands: The Untold Story

Using the internet and your expedition team,  you will research the lives and culture of the Eastern Woodlands.  In groups of 4-5, each student will select a role. If you have 5 in your group, there may be 2 historians. Please choose a role now, and then go on to the Process Page for more details.

1. Historian- Identify the culture.

2. Navigator- Examine the physical and geographical structure of the land.

3. Diplomat- Interpret the role of the Eastern Woodland tribes daily life as men and women. 

4. Craftsmen- Research the artistic elements of the Eastern Woodlands people.

Using the links on the Process page, you will conduct your research. It will be helpful to record your information using your notebook, or Microsoft Word. After your research each day, you will blog at least 2 paragraphs about the information you have gathered. The king and queen will be anxious to read your daily reports! 

At the conclusion of the week your group will be creating a power point presentation to be shared by your classmates. More information can be found on the Process Page.
