Task
Your challenge: An earthquake measuring nearly 9.0 on the Richter scale occurs near Japan. A devastating tsunami will soon follow and now hundreds of lives will perish if not warned in time.
In this webquest you will learn about the power and destruction of tsunami and their cost to property and human life. You will also investigate how scientists worldwide work to alert people in the time of a tsunami event. You will become a member of an Emergency Task Force in order to warn and raise awareness of the causes and characteristics of a Tsunami.
