Texas Indian Tribes

Your goal is to gain an in depth understanding of the lives of Indian Tribes that lived in Texas. You will conduct research on your tribe using the computer, write a report to share with others, and create a visual product to display in the library!

Since you will be working on a team, you may want to choose jobs for each member to have from the very begining. Here are some suggested jobs:

1. Team manager (coordinate all aspects of the project)

2. Research coordinator (will ensure that all information is correct and appropriate for the project)

3. Materials manager (will ensure that all needed materials are available for use by the team)

4. Time manager (will ensure that all team members are using time wisely and that deadlines are met)

5. Teacher liaison (will provide reports to teacher on progress of team and ask for assistance if the team requires it)

You will have two weeks to complete the entire project. We will be going to the library every day for 45 minutes during those two weeks. If you and your team need additional time, you can use study hall and/or come in during lunch.

Your assignment packet has your assigned tribe's name, your team members, and all the materials you need to complete your project.
