Texas Indian Tribes

1. You will begin by conducting research on the internet and completing the research chart provided. You might want to make things faster by having each team member choose a topic and completing that topic, then sharing the results with each other.  Remember to check in frequently on your rubric to be sure that you are finding the correct information and enough of it. All the rubrics for the project can be found under the evaluation section.
2. Based on the research you conducted, you will write a research paper telling about your tribe. Each student will write their own paper, but you can work with your team to get them written.  Remember to check in with the rubric frequently.   * Hint: Since there are five categories of information, it might be a good idea to make each catagory a paragraph!
3. Once each team member has completed their paper, you will choose what type of presentation you want to complete,who will take which job for the presentation and begin work.

                       You will use the following website for your search: www.texasindians.com. Once you log on to the website, click on 'articles on tribes' and then click on your tribe.
