Key Maps in the English Speaking World

For this task you need to work with four other classmates. Each one will have a different role, but this does not mean that you will be working individually.  On the contrary, you all need to cooperate with each other. It is your  responsibility to ensure that each others' roles are fulfilled properly and with the highest standards. Remember that  you will be graded as group.  Here the description for each role:

Project manager: You will be in charge of exploring creative ideas to design your poster. You are also in charge of making a budget and a list of materials that will be needed for the design and  exhibition of  your group�s poster.  On the day of the presentation you will be in charge of making sure that  your group�s  presentation is no longer than 10 minutes and that additional materials (sticky tape, thumb nails ) are available.

Researcher: You will need to ensure that all the sources used for the presentation are reliable and updated. For this, we suggest that you avoid using information from websites where there is no author, affiliation, year and contact information of the person in charge of updating the materials.

Poster designer: You will lead the design of the poster. You need to make sure that images/maps are clear enough for the audience to see, that there are no spelling, grammar and/or vocabulary mistakes. Also you need to check that there is clear and intuitive lay-out. You will also need to agree with other poster designers where the best location for your poster is.

Presenters (2) (one beginner and one intermediate) You will be the �face� of your group. You will be in charge of delivering the presentation. You need to learn how specific words are pronounced and deliver your presentation in a clear voice, engaging your audience. You need to take turns with your co-presenter and make transitions smooth.
