Key Maps in the English Speaking World

In class we discussed how the English language has spread all over the world and  how countries in the concentric circles are located on all five continents.  Since geographical location is a key factor in shaping the traditions, beliefs and behaviors and these are expressed through language, English has evolved in unimaginable ways. This shaping translates in a variety of accents, dialects and an increasing number of words that are borrowed from the language spoken in particular places.
This web quest clearly acknowledges the diversity of English throughout history.
