Your ultimate goal is to develop a timeline and write a research paper discussing Philadelphia's role before, during and after the Revolutionary War. You will be completing the following process individually by following the steps below.

.) Your first task is to conduct your research. You will be given time to access the Internet and gather any and all materials needed to aquire the necessary information. You will find the links you need at the bottom of this page. While you are researching Philadelphia's role before, during and after the Revolutionary War, you will complete all three worksheets that will help you organize the information. You can access the worksheets by clicking on the attachment links below. Make sure you complete each worksheet, Pre-war Philadelphia, Philadelphia duing the war, and Post-war Philadelphia.

.) Once you have completed the worksheets, have your teacher look over them for accuracy. When you are given the approval from your teacher, you may proceed.

.) Now that you have your teacher's approval, you will use your research to complete your timeline. You will be creating a timeline for pre-war, during war, and post-war and developing a BookArt. Directions on how to make your specific book are at the bottom of the page. Include four events for each time period with related illustrations.

.) After your timeline is complete, write a rough draft of your research paper. Highlight the important events, people, and places you learned about in your research on your graphic organizers. Make sure you have an interesting introduction and conclusion.

.) After you have edited your paper, have your teacher check your writing for accuracy, composition, focus, and grammar. When you have your teacher's approval, you may use a laptop or computer to type your final draft.

.) Turn in your completed timeline and research paper to be graded.
