Research and Skit
You are going to need to do research before you can start working on the skit. You can use the websites listed below or find one of your own. It is not necessary to find a real child's story, it can be made up but must include truthful facts. You will need to have these questions answered:
  • What is the age of the child (required to be under the age of eight)?
  • Where is the child working?
  • What is the child's job?
  • How does the child do their job (ex~picking up scraps on floor under machines)?
  • How many hours a day does the child work?
  • What is the child getting paid?
  • What types of injuries could occur where the child is working?
  • What is the year/date?
  • Where is the skit taking place (country, state, city)?
The skit should be a true reenactment. There should not be a narrator. It it necessary that ALL group members participate in the skit and have a part. The skit needs to include a child or children and their boss or manager. Other persons may be included but are not necessary.
