Hi!

I’m sure you’re very excited to explore the city. I’m giving the links for the useful websites. Please, use them to find relevant information. When you’re searching the sites, try to answer the following questions.

1.     What places do tourists usually visit in London?

2.    What are the important historical places?

3.    What museums should we visit?

(I’m sure you‘ll spend a lot of time on the second and the third questions because there are a lot of historical places and museums in London.)

4.    How are we going to travel there?

5.    What is the easiest and cheapest way to travel in the city?

6.    What/ where can we eat there?

7.    Is there anything special we should taste?

8.    Is there any special food we can and should bring back home?

9.    How will the weather be at that time of the year?

10. What kind of clothes should we take with us?

AN URGENT E-MAIL FROM MS EXPERINCED!

Hi!

Something we missed until now: SHOPPING! Where can you go shopping? Of course, you’d like to buy some branded clothes to show people back home.

And, you may want to buy some English books to improve your English. So, you should search for not only clothes shops but also some bookstores! I’m sure teacher will be very pleased to see you buying English books J

All the best,

Ms Experienced

...............

So, we have one more question now, which is the eleventh one.

    11. Where can we go shopping?

After making sure you found the answers of the above questions, study on your notes, try to identify the information you need and make sure you avoid irrelevant, too detailed and boring information.

Then, it’s time to write your report.

Don’t forget it will be a full written report. It will include photos as well as the answers of the questions. Organise the data with headings about the topics, such as transportation, food & drink. Then, give the information with sub-titles such as trains, busses, etc. Don’t just write the questions and the answers below them. Be sure to proof-read your report before sending it to me.

You may use the evaluation rubric in order not to miss anything.

Then, it’s time to prepare your presentation using Powerpoint. Put the data and photos you used in your reports. Be sure it’s visually appealing. You know, you are going to present your plan to your friends.

Looking forward to seeing your plans.
