Follow the directions on the 'Occupation and Salary Information' sheet. Search online for information about different careers and occupations. Find one that you like and find out how much the yearly STARTING salary is for that occupation. Fill out the worksheet with the information that you find. Follow the directions on the 'Groceries' sheet. Create a meal plan for the week and create a grocery list, including prices. You may want to use the following websites for information about meal plans and to help price your grocery list. Feel free to search online and find your own sources of information.

Follow the directions on the 'Vehicle Expenses' sheet to discover how much gas will cost for the different types of cars. After you are done with that, you will search online to find a car of our choice. Be careful though, you will have to be able to afford the monthly payment. Page 7: Rent
Follow the directions on the 'Rent and Other Living Expenses' sheet to discover how much it will cost to rent an apartment. Search online and find a one-bedroom apartment. Make sure that HEAT and WATER is included. Also, calculate the monthly cost for utilities for your apartment. You may have to do some searching online to find the average utilities costs. Use the following websites for this information. Feel free to search online and find your own sources of information as well.
Page 8: Final Budget
Follow the directions on the 'Final Monthly Budget' sheet to finalize your monthly budget based on all of the information that you have found. Use all of the sheets that you filled out so far to calculate your final budget. Extra Credit for those of you who can make a pie chart with this information.
