Vertical Angles - Technology and Literacy

Introduction

The purpose of this lesson not only to learn about vertical angles and be able to apply to solve various geometrical problems but also increase student's technologica lliteracy by reviewing blogg
Student will be engage in an interactive activity
At the beginning, teacher will review homework
During the class, teacher will show one video clip
Teacher will use collaborative learning strategy
Teacher will use found a poem activity (Strategy #10)
Students will have to complete hands on activities specifyied in blogg
Teacher will use note taking activity (Strategy #38)

Objectives

At the end of the lesson student will be able to indentify vertical angles
At the end of the lesson student will be able to justify that vertical angles are congruent
At the end of the lesson student will be able to investigate vertical angle relation by using interactive game activity
At the end of the lesson evaluate the other students� solution
During the lesson, students will use mathematical language and concepts to express their ideas while working in groups and being engaged in class discussions
