Citizens of Detroit that live in the ZIP code 48217 are facing the highest rates of air pollution in Michigan. For too long, neighborhood groups have been asking City Council for help, but the council has ignored their pleas for fear that making laws that affect factories in the area will force much-needed jobs and tax money out of the city. As the campaign staff of an aspiring city council member, it will be your job to explore this issue. You'll need  to choose who to support; the neighborhood groups  who can rally citizens to vote for your candidate, or the businesses whose financial contributions could buy enough advertising to guarantee your candidate the seat.
