What's Your Sign?

Depending on the time of the year we were born, we are given a zodiac sign. These signs identify what time period of the year we are born in, and give us certain characteristics. We are also given an animal or creature to identify us. The calendar for giving us these signs is called the zodiac calendar. But there is not just one zodiac calendar, there are several different ones. Each one with its own animals, so your identity varies from calendar to calendar! It is important that we realize we are not the only culture to use this calendar, and so I have provided some places to look at other cultures calendars as well. There are three groups whose zodiac calendars we will be looking at: the Chinese, Native American, and American. After you have found all three of your identities, it’s your job to pick the best one or to create your own that you believe best represents you! Once this is done, you have to persuade the Zodiac President to give you the sign. Let’s hope you can be pretty persuasive and get it approved!
