Penguins

This summer our principal, Mrs. Penguinlover, saw the movie, "Popper's Penguins."  She was so overwhelmed by how cute the penguins were that now she thinks it would be an awesome idea to set up a penguin habitat here in our building.  Wouldn't it be great to come to school every day and play with the penguins?  Mrs. Penguinlover wants to set up a classroom to keep live penguins in our building year round.  Some of the teachers don't agree with her plan.  They seem to think there might be important things to considers.  She needs your expertise to help her decide if this is a wise decision as a principal. 

You and your team are among a few chosen groups that the principal, Mrs. Penguinlover, hand selected out of the entire school to help her with this huge project.  Your research is extremely important and will help Mrs. Penguinlover decide whether or not to complete her project.  You should be able to argue for or against her project.  Through your research, discussions and activities, you will compile information to help you make an informed decision.
