Identity Theft

Identity theft is not uncommon, but teenagers think they are exempt because they don't have credit cards and bank accounts.  This WebQuest is a real eye-opener for some.  Others may have already been victims either personally or through their parents. 

 

Before beginning the WebQuest, the students completed a Scaffolded Reading Experience in which they learned the ten vocabulary words listed on Attachment #1.  The comprehension of these words is essential to the success of this WebQuest.  Attachment #1 is only one of the activity included in the SRE.  If you would like more information on this SRE, please contact me.
