Basketball 101

Before you leave to go back in time, Dr. James Naismith Jr. wants to make sure your team has all the needed information on the game. Therefore, each expert will compile all of their information in a short PowerPoint presentation that will be presented to Dr. James Naismith Jr. and his associates.

    Principle Research Assistant:  Develop a 4-5 slide PowerPoint presentation that highlights how basketball or “basket ball” was created and what changes happened from December 1891 to 1930.
    Skills Assistant:  Develop a 4-5 slide PowerPoint presentation that highlights the fundamentals of basketball’s skill development from 1930-1970 with at least 1 slide only about shooting during that time period.
    Head Coach:  Develop a 4-5 slide PowerPoint presentation that highlights the current drills for making a great shooting athlete.  Make sure you use drills from 1970-Present Day.
    All-Star Athlete:  Develop a 4-5 slide PowerPoint presentation that highlights the drills, skills, and techniques for basketball from 1891 to Present Day.  Make sure you have 1 slide demonstrating a drill through some type of illustration including pictures, drawings, graphics, etc.
