Communities

Audience:  2nd Grade

Objective: Students will understand the differences between the three types of communities: Rural, Urban and Suburban.  They will discover what kind of people live in each community, what kind of houses they live in, and what kind of transportation they use.

Utah Core Standard: Second Grade social studies standard 2, Students will develop a sense
of self in relation to families and community.
Objective 2: examine
