Energy WebQuest - 1

Focus:

This WebQuest basically focuses on work, power and energy with some additional focus on motion and forces.  The objective of this WebQuest is to help students learn about work, power, energy, types of energy, energy transfer and conservation of energy.  The lesson uses Rube Goldberg devices and Amusement Park rides to peak student interest and keep the motivated throughout the unit.

 

Objectives and Goals:

The following Iowa Core Curriculum standards are met during this unit:

• Generate questions that can be answered through scientific investigations.
