Extension Activities:*Have the students research other safety signs on their own. Have students make another book about the safety signs they found.
*Have students make poster size models about the safety signs they studied with their written purpose. Post them around the classroom or in the hall.
*Have students make their own safety sign. Have them create the sign and present the sign and its meaning to the class.
*Give students various scenarios and have them discuss how and what safety signs would be useful.
