Plant Adaptations

This WebQuest is intended for fourth grade students.  The students will research a biome of their choice and find out what kinds of adaptations plants in this biome have.  Then, they will create a new kind of plant that has the proper adaptations to live in the biome. 

 

The Ohio Academic Content Standards covered by this WebQuest are Grade 3-5 Life Science:

Benchmark B: Analyze plant and animal structures and functions needed for survival and descrive the flow of energy through a systme that all organisms use to survive.

Benchmark C: Compare changes in an organism's ecosystem/habitat that affect its survival.
