Your tasks are going to be: 

1. Start a journal entry This is where you will store the information you gather, especially things you have learned. 

2. Take a Pre-Quiz to see how much you already know.   

3. Review the resources of the Coordinate Plane - look up vocabulary, discuss specifics of points, axis, and quadrants.  

4. Practice a few problems on plotting.

5. Use various data sets to explore different types of plots.  

6. Explore the resources using different websites. 

7. Develop some rules of your own that will help you understand the coordinate plane. 

8. Practice more problems graphing different lines and recognizing different variables.

9. Discuss different problems that apply to the coordinate plane and the world around us.  

10. Pass the QUIZ to ensure you have fully comprehended the coordinate plane also write a reflection about the project in your journal.

Graphing can be an especially difficult unit, if you do not have a good grasp of the coordinate plane and, is probably one of the valuable tools in algebra.  Be patient and go slow.  There is a lot to do on each of these tasks.  Plan your time carefully - the estimated time for this unit is at least one weeks.  Remember, math is best learned with daily practice and by doing review problems.
