Colonial America Timeshare
Task
Welcome to New World Timeshare and Travel. Let's get started selling some timeshares.
Please see your supervisor (teacher) for your group assignment. Your group will consist of 4 salespeople (students) and you must decide as a group what timeshare area; New England, Middle, or Southern colonies; you would like to sell. Once you decided let your supervisor know. She needs to make sure we have presentations for all the regions so it will be on a first come first serve basis.
As a group, you will need to research your region and call upon any prior knowledge you have to come up with a comprehensive powerpoint presentation that you will give to a group of prospective customers (classmates). This presentation should cover the following information:
- Geography - climate, landforms
- Government - local, regional
- Religion - types, rules, role they play
- Economies - agriculture, non- agricultural
- Labor forces - jobs
- Daily Life
Remember you are salespeople so sell your region. Make it fun, exciting, informational, and interesting and I'm sure your paycheck will have a huge bonus from all your sales commissions.
