Soaking up the 60s - Getting Ready for The Outsiders
Task
Your objective in this webquest is to learn more about the author and the setting of The Outsiders. Follow the directions on this packet and answer the subsequent questions as completely as you can. Many links are provided in the table at the bottom.
Search tips:
To open a site,
simply place your mouse over the address; hold the control button down and left
click the mouse.
Once you open a site, press Ctrl + F then type the
word you�re looking for. If it�s on the page, it will be highlighted.
Set up your answer document:
- Open a Word document and put your heading in the header (double click on the top of the document � above where the cursor is flashing). Double click in the lower portion of the page to leave the header area.
- Insert a table that is 3 columns wide. The number of rows is not important. You can easily add a row by clicking in bottom right cell of the table and hitting the tab key.
- Label the columns and set your table up similar to this example:
