The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn

In order to understand the historical context for the themes in The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, you will work together to study the pre-Civil War South, compose an encyclopedia containing descriptions of each different classes, and you will then write diary accounts of characters from each of those classes that will incorporate their struggles with the themes in Huckleberry Finn; these diary accounts will then be added to your encyclopedias.
