In this Web Quest you are tasked with learning how to evaluate online sources for reliability.  

You will evaluate and compare two online sources based on factors that determine reliability.

You will learn which web address (url) endings (suffixes) are more trustworthy.

You will learn how to determine an author's/organization's purpose in creating a website.  The acronym PIE will become familiar to you.

You will learn how to differentiate facts from opinions.  You will understand that strongly held opinions can lead to bias.

Finally, you will assess fake websites to test your evaluation skills.
