Australia - Down Under!
Task
Hey!
Great to see you again! Obviously you've decided
to join our trip around Australia! :-)
Sometimes it can be quite exhausting, for example when we're walking
through the outback and depending on which animals we meet
it can also become extremely dangerous.
But hey, donīt be scared! Youīre not alone.
And if a kangaroo wouldnīt be able to live here, who else would be?
Therefore please read the following instructions carefully and carry them out, then everything will be fine!
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Build 5 Groups of 4-5 Persons. Stick always together and try to help each other.
Nobody is able to survive deserts on his or her own!
2. There are 6 different topics your group can work on:
- Australian History
- Aboriginal Australia
- Australian Lifestyle
- Places to go/Geography
- Australian Wildlife
Decide for one topic!
3. Get your group organised! Discuss whether everybody searches for the same
pieces of information on his/her own or whether it is better to spread the tasks.
4. Each topic is structured equally:
- First of all it starts with a little text which introduces your group to the theme
you will be working on the next lessons.
- Secondly you will find some questions and tasks to work on. You
will be given some internet links which may help you. Nevertheless it is always
up to your group to find further information by using the internet and search
engines like "Google".
5. At the end of our trip everybody of your group should be an "expert" on your
topic! Donīt forget that only your group members gather information about it!
6. Create a Poster for your classroom! Write down the most important facts, add
