Native Americans of Indiana

You and your team will design four exhibits on paper. All groups will use a design checklist for each exhibit design.

The first exhibit will be a map of their territory. It must show what area of Indiana the tribe once lived in.

 The next exhibit will be a "home setting" theme that will show the visitor what its members wore, what kind of shelter they lived in and what they would see in and around thier home. Don't forget about the food. Yum!

The next exhibit will be a "hunting scene." This scene will need to depict what a hunter/warrior would have worn, what kind of weapon they may have used and an exaple of one kind of animal they would have been hunting. No blood and guts please.

The final exhibit will an information center that will include a recording of a story/tale from that tribe,and pictures of their artwork.

When your designs are complete, you must choose one exhibit to build and present to the Museum Council (Teacher and classmates). All members of your team must agree upon the chosen exhibit and confirm it with the teacher.

After the teacher has confirmed your design choice, you will build a mode of that scene and present it with your group to the class.
