Task

Future Zoologists,

Your task is to aid other zoologists in creating comfortable and natural habitats for the animals that will soon be moving in to the Richmond Zoo. In teams of seven (that I have already picked), you will need to research qualities of five specific biomes: the desert, grasslands, the rainforest, the tundra and the forest. From your specific biome, you will choose two animals that live in that environment and research their behavioral and physical adaptations to that environment. Your research will come from the links that I will provide. Once you have gathered all of your information into a graphic organizer, you will then decide, as a team, how to present your information to the creators of the zoo in a 5-7 minute presentation. You can present using a poster, on Glogster, or on a Prezi. Be sure to include pictures, maps and all of the information I ask of you in your presentation. Remember- the comfort and happiness of your neighboring animals rides on the quality of your work! Do not forget to use your teammates to help you and to share the work evenly. Great success comes from great teamwork.

Good luck!
