Grandparents! Past, Present, and Future!

1. Use the links below titled information about grandparents 1 and 2 to help to understand more about grandparents both in the past and in the present.
  *This will help you during your interview and also to help you to get a feel of how things are changing and what it may be like in the future.

2. Use the list of questions to ask your grandparents.

3. Be sure to write their answers down on a piece of paper.

4. Ask them, "What do you like about being a grandparent?" "What is your favorite part?"

5. Write this down as well on your paper.

6. Bring this infromation back to school and be prepared to turn it into a story.

7. On your piece of paper write your story about what you learned from your interview with your grandparents.

8. Next use your critical thinking skills and write on a seperate piece of paper what you think it will be like when you are a grandparent, and what you will like about being a grandparent.

9. When you are finished you can draw a picture for each one.

10. When everyone is finished we will form a circle and take turns going around the circle and sharing our products with the class.

11. We will be displaying them in the classroom so make them look nice!
