Process

At the computer:

 

1. Each group member prints out the Research Grid.

 

2. Click on OR Regions http://www.oregonpackagedtravel.com/or/regions.php. After studying the map your group will chose the region they want to work on. Write the name of your region on the board. Each group will work on a different region.

 

3. Within your group decided what information/theme each member should research.

 

4. Read the paragraph on the region you have chosen on the above link and take notes on your grid. Click on the following links for more information to help you complete your grid.

In the classroom:

 

1. Decide whether you are going to create a poster or radio commercial to persuade people to life in your region.

 

2. Use the information on your research grid to plan your poster or radio commercial.

 

3. Make your poster or radio commerical. (You must complete a written skript for your radio commerical before taping the commerical)

 

4. Present your product to the class, each group member must participate.
