Process

Step 1:  You will spend the first class session browsing the internet and briefly viewing pictures and information about Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.  At the end of class, you must choose which planet you will be researching more in-depth.  Check out the following website to help begin your search!

Step 2:  You will spend the next 2 class sessions gathering pictures and more detailed information on the planet that you chose.  You will complete the attached Microsoft Word document in order to assist you in gathering useful information.

Step 3:  You will spend class session 4 and 5 creating a 6-10 slide PowerPoint presentation to show the results of your search. (See Evaluation page for PowerPoint requirements)

Step 4: You will orally present your findings to NASA (your classmates) and use your PowerPoint slides as visual aids.  Once your presentation is complete, you and your fellow colleagues will determine if the planet you researched is suitable for human life.
